Care Guide

How to clean your gear:

All of our products are made from BioThane which is naturally waterproof and odor-free. When your gear gets dirty, just wash it off with warm water and mild soap.

For persistent dirt removal, we recommend soap and water, and an old toothbrush to scrub the dirt.

If your gear does start to smell (where we punch holes and cut the end, we do seal the material, but this can ware over time), use a spray of white vinegar and then wash with water and soap.

Dry all metal hardware off with a towel after washing.

Bear (Bear-Bo-Baggins)

Bear is the personality hire here at EKG and he is sure to bring snuggles to every work meeting. Bear is part of our product development team and comes up with some really great ideas (at least that's what we tell him)

Freya (Freybee)

Freya plays a crucial role here at EKG, she is in charge of product testing. She brings her one of a kind attitude to every part of her life and is sure to let us know when it's time to pet her (which is always)

Shadow (Buppo)

Shadow is the O.G. here at EKG. She is the foundation of this company and the true reason behind our mission. She is also in charge of quality control and inspections.

The Dogs' Humans

Phil

Phil's love for dogs and passion for engineering led him to start EKG with his wife Sarah. After the Marine Corps, Phil studied at college and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He now dedicates his time to dog training and making some really great dog gear!

Sarah (Bean)

Sarah has always wanted to create. She has a B.S. in Aviation Business and has worked in the Aerospace industry for the past 6 years. Sarah also loves dogs and hopes to provide other dog owners with reliable, high-quality gear that will last their dogs' a lifetime.
